The Bag in Rio

The Context

One Bag. One City. Zero Flights.

This was a full production built around a single accessory: the bag. The brand, managing everything from Europe, needed the campaign shot in Rio without ever setting foot on a plane, a fully remote production, executed end to end by a crew on the ground. With Seasky Productions as executive producer, Babilônia took on the Brazil side: casting, locations, styling, and crew, handled entirely in-house.

The Approach

The Bag Travels Like a Traveler.

The concept put the product where it belongs: on the move. We brought the bag to the most iconic places in Rio, framing it the way a traveler would actually experience the city, carried through its landmarks, not staged in front of them. The city became the itinerary, and the bag the constant companion.

Remote production is a test of trust and communication, and this one ran on both. With the brand directing from Europe, our crew handled every moving piece on the ground, casting the right face, locking the right locations, styling, and shooting, delivering a campaign that looked exactly as envisioned from thousands of kilometers away. Photography by Claudia Steinert and video coverage rounded out a complete content package, stills and motion from a single production.

The Outcome

Proof That Distance Doesn’t Dilute.

The campaign delivered a European brand a genuinely Rio production without the cost and logistics of flying a team across the Atlantic. Every piece of the puzzle, from the model to the makeup to the last location permit, was handled locally and executed to brief. For Babilônia, it’s the clearest case for what remote production can be: full creative ambition, zero compromise, and a trusted crew on the ground who treat the brand’s vision like their own.
